SALISBURY, N.C. (July 31, 2018) – Over 100 aspiring drivers from across the United States have been accepted to compete in the Keith Kunz Motorsports (KKM) Giveback Classic Presented by TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development) at Millbridge Speedway for the two-night event spanning from Oct. 30 to Oct. 31.

Keith Kunz Motorsports and Millbridge Speedway (NC) will be giving one aspiring race car driver the chance of a lifetime.  The Keith Kunz Motorsports Give Back Classic on Wednesday, October 31 will provide Outlaw Kart racers with an opportunity to win a free ride for the prestigious Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, OK in 2019.

Kyle Larson back to victory lane at Millbridge takes the point lead!

SALISBURY, N.C. – One week after falling short of victory at Millbridge Speedway, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Larson struck back to claim his first trophy in two years at the sixth-mile dirt oval.

Larson led the final three quarters of Wednesday night’s 20-lap Open Division feature, surging around the outside of polesitter and early leader Tucker Scanlon on a lap-six restart, when Scanlon got sideways coming to the green flag off turn four.

Hoffman, Tucker, Crews, Corry, Totherow Score wins in Opening Night!

SALISBURY, N.C. – For the second year in a row, Nick Hoffman laid claim to the Wednesday Series season-opener at Millbridge Speedway, winning the headlining 20-lap Open division feature.

Nick Tucker (500 Outlaw), Brent Crews (Intermediate), Sam Corry (Box Stock) and Landon Totherow (Beginner Box Stock) were also victorious in their respective classes during the opening week of competition, which was postponed twice due to inclement weather before finally being completed.
 
Hoffman inherited the top spot with nine laps remaining, after polesitter and early leader Clark Houston’s kart stumbled down the backstretch before spinning in turn three with motor issues.

Two Stroke Only race paying $1000 to win at the Speed51 Open

Over the winter, Millbridge Speedway co-owners Ashly and Jeremy Burnett decided to make a change. That change was the addition of a new division of Outlaw Kart racing at the 1/6-mile clay oval in Salisbury, N.C., known as the VP Fuels Outlaw division, which debuted in March this year. On Tuesday, May 22, the Outlaw division will race for $1,000 in the QRC Speed51 Open presented by HMS Motorsport for the first time.

 

The race will be sponsored by TT Bone Extreme Karting, the Midwest dealer for QRC.
